I am a fairly recently qualified teacher (2015), after having had a lengthy career in Communications and PR management in a large unitary authority.
I am married with two sons aged 24 and 18 so know the school system as a parent as well as a teacher. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the cinema, football and travel and walking my black labrador.

Availability:
Thursdays 3-6 at home
later evening appointments available on request, wherever possible; location flexible
Most Saturdays available all day, flexible arrangements possible
Weekly slots available for 1-1 tuition, or would consider tutoring in pairs, depending upon individual needs.

Experience: B.A. (Joint Hons), PGCE, QTS - Fully qualified primary teacher - currently working part time in year 3/4 and teaching SATs English boosters in year 6.

I offer private tuition for pupils to boost English skills within the KS2 curriculum - spelling, grammar, reading comprehension and writing. I am able to offer support for the English Year 6 SATs tests.

I have a Primary French specialism. I have a degree in French and can offer support with GCSE, especially the AQA Examination Board.
