I contacted Matthew to provide support for my son in the final weeks of his Spanish GCSE preparation. Matthew was very pleasant to deal with and very efficient in all our communications. He is extremely well organised and has a very clear delivery in the sessions. He has excellent subject knowledge and was able to quickly identify the areas where my son needed help and work on them with him accordingly - my son has definitely benefitted from the sessions. Excellent tutor - thorough, professional and approachable – cannot recommend highly enough! My daughter moved schools midway through year 8 and had to switch from French to Spanish, so she had a year and a half of teaching to catch up on. I love that sessions are 100% productive, every minute is useful, but at the same time my daughter is completely at ease, happy to ask questions and participate fully. In just a few months Matt has got her caught up on virtually everything and she’s feeling confident about her Spanish GCSE course 😊;

Matt is excellent. He has been incredibly helpful in fixing the gaps in my Yr11 son`s Spanish learning caused by lost lessons during the pandemic. My son had virtually written off Spanish due to so little teaching in his school but Matt`s help and support has completely turned it around in just a few weeks - my son has gone from being content to just about pass his Spanish GCSE to now striving for an A. My son has found Matt easy and friendly to work with.

He has been looking after my son (22 yr old in Y7)’s Spanish in the last few months. He is super organized. Also he provides extra support outside the lesson (check the homework in advance and revert with corrections before the next lesson day). I can recommend him.

Matthew is an excellent tutor. My son has really benefited from his patient, friendly and positive teaching. The lessons are very well prepared and planned at an appropriate level, relaxed but with a good pace and challenge. There are good resources provided which are easy to access. Matthew carefully and accurately assesses where there are strengths as well as gaps in learning, and tailors the lessons accordingly. He provides some very useful revision in between sessions which is followed up in subsequent lessons. Matthew`s lessons have given my son a great boost to his confidence in Spanish, and he is really enjoying them.

Matthew taught my 13 year old son French weekly for half a term. Within this period of time he managed to help my son get to grips with French in a way that his class teacher hadn`t in 4 terms.
