My Name is Muj and I am 27 years old. I am a Maths teacher at a Secondary School in East London. I also ran my own Kumon Tuition Centre for over a year.

After graduating from Uni with a First Class Honours, I completed my PGCE with an Outstanding grade from King`s College London in 2017/2018.

Since then I have been teaching students in year 7-11 with a wide range of abilities. I have taught highly able students (top set students) as well as those with special needs or lower abilities which has allowed me to adapt my teaching style to suit different needs.

My style is to guide students - not spoon feed them - to discover and learn concepts themselves. This method is extremely powerful for several reasons.
- - Students who discover concepts themselves understand and retain the information much better and for far longer.
- - Students do not become reliant upon the teacher.
- - Students learn the skills to become self learners.
- - Students build resilience.
- - Students begin to link different areas of Maths together and see how they are all connected.

I tutored for a number of years whilst at uni, I have been a teacher for several years and I successfully set up my own Kumon Tuition centre as well. All of these experiences have allowed me to learn so much about educating others. I feel I am in a stronger position than many others when it comes to teaching students.

I am able to teach from my home close to Maida Vale or online. I have an up to date DBS certificate.
