Experienced A level and GCSE teacher. I am a examiner for GCSE history Edexcel and AQA history A level.
Subjects, other than history, that I can tutor include English and Government and Politics.

I`m a highly motivated and adaptable person. I have a natural affinity with children and adults alike and derive an immense pleasure in aiding people to achieve their potential, both academically and in life. Helping others comes naturally to me and I enjoy putting these skills into practice.

I have a BA(Hons) Degree in History and Politics from the University of Sunderland and a PGCE from the University of Greenwich.

Experience: I have over twelve years teaching experience and have worked in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Greater London.

Subjects I currently teach or have taught in the past include history, government and politics, English language and English literature, business studies, general studies and sociology. I have also tutored students for EPQ (Extended Project qualification)

I am currently a Curriculum Manager for the A level humanities department at an Further Education College.

Prior to my current position I worked in Newham for two secondary schools doing One to One English Tuition. I also worked as a History, English and Geography Teacher in Hertfordshire. I have been a examiner for the GCSE and AS History exam papers for the Edexcel and AQA exam boards for the last ten years. I have extensive experience of marking papers on the Tudors, Germany and Russia and the Soviet un ion at GCSE and A level standard.

In terms of my private tuition I have experience of teaching a wide range of learners in subjects such as English, History and Geography.
