I am an enthusiastic teacher of Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy and Ethics. As a current teacher, I have lots to offer in terms of resources, knowledge of exam boards and relevance.

Experience: My first degree was a BA in Theology and I received a high 2:1. I am very passionate about Theology, Philosophy and Ethics. I love learning and debating the ideas in these courses.I have been teaching Religious Studies for the past 10 years. I have led a successful department in a large secondary and I am currently an RS curriculum lead across 9 secondary schools as well as an assistant principal. I always wanted to work with young people and was a full-time youth worker before completing my degrees.

In my job, I enjoy seeing students realise their potential and it`s great working with them towards their desired goals. I am passionate about Religious Studies and think it is a very important subject in our ever-changing world. Mostly, however, my job is fantastic because of all of the amazing young people I get to work with.

I consistently achieve high results with my students. Whilst I specialise in Christianity and Islam, I also have knowledge of Judaism, Hinduism and Buddhism. I have been an Examiner for OCR and Edexcel GCSE for the past two years and currently teach the Edexcel specification at my own school. At A Level, my specialism is Christian Development and Philosophy but I also have knowledge of Ethics, Judaism and Islam as I studied these topics as a part of my degree.
