I am passionate about teaching maths and have taught in a variety of different schools for almost 10 years. Mathematics is logical and beautiful and I encourage and support students to come to these conclusions themselves - as well as helping them to achieve their best possible grade in examinations.

I am also an examiner for Edexcel higher tier so am able to offer useful insights into the examinations process for students.

As a current teacher, I am well aware of recent developments in the curriculum and mathematics teaching and can use this to the advantage of my students.

I am happy to host tutees in the comfort of my own home, located in the Preston area of Paignton.

Availability: Friday early evening
Saturday afternoons/early evening
Sunday afternoons/early evening

School holiday "intense courses" by arrangement.

Experience: BSc (Hons), PGCE, QTS

Currently Assistant Head of Mathematics at a comprehensive school in Exeter.

Experienced at all maths from KS2 to GCSE and A Level.
