Hello! I’m Justin, a professional engineer and tutor, specialising in mathematics and physics to GCSE and A Level, as well as civil engineering for undergraduates. With a strong academic background in STEM subjects and years of real-world experience in my field, I offer tailored tutoring with a ‘student-focused’ approach, that starts with understanding and enhancing the core concepts. Subjects like mathematics and physics can be dense and daunting. My lessons will break down the curriculum by topic and help to identify the parts you find difficult, allowing more time to be focused on where you’re struggling the most, so we can work through those problems together. Lessons typically last 1 hour, with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Whether you`re preparing for exams, need help with coursework or want to strengthen your overall knowledge, my approach is designed to boost confidence by increasing understanding of the fundamentals, which in-turn will lead to better academic performance. Experience: I work as a private tutor, both independently and through large tutoring networks, such as The Profs. I have taught civil engineering at university level, and math and physics to GCSE and A-Level students covering a range of exam boards and specifications. I have also worked with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) to tutor final-year engineering students in the practical application of their academic knowledge, as part of the ICE Summer Project.
