I am an English tutor with around 9 years experience teaching young adults and older. The youngest being 16 but happy to teach any age group.
I have been teaching Levels 1 and 2 Functional English which has similarities to GCSE English language.
I can help with spelling, grammar, punctuation,increasing vocabulary and writing essays etc. I am also able to help with reading comprehension tasks.
My students have achieved good results and gained confidence in their ability. A high percentage have achieved their desired results for exams.
I am friendly and personable and gain a good rapport with my students.
I have recently attained QTLS status
For the past two and a half years, I have been tutoring in English GCSE. I recently helped a student who had failed his GCSE English Language exam 4 times. i worked with him and identified straight away where he was going wrong, he had about 2 months tuition with me and passed when he took the exam again,
