Hola! My name is Elena!

I am a native Spanish teacher from a lovely city called Alicante. I moved to London 3 years ago looking for a change.

I`m qualified as a primary teacher specialized in languages and a child psychologist. I also have a Master`s degree in Secondary Education.

In my free time I love going to the gym, travel and spend time with my friends discovering new places.

Availability: I am currently working in a school as a Teaching Assistant in Year 2 full time and I run an after school Spanish club but I have some free time in the evenings after 5 or weekends.

I`m based in Willesden Green/ Finchley road and Hampstead area but happy to travel a bit further.

Experience: I have a wide expericence teaching both children and adults. In Spain I used to work as an English teacher and now I`m teaching Spanish over here.

Motivation is a key factor when learning a language so I use different methodologies and materials, always adapted to my student learning style. Lessons are always very interactive following a communicative approach and focussing on the 4 basic skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing).

For children the lessons are structured with games and songs so they can learn Spanish in a natural, contextualized and fun way. I have lots of materials.
