Having taught at schools judged as outstanding by Ofsted I have strong experience in teaching the updated creative curriculum, working with children aged between 3-7 in Greater and inner London.

I believe the best way to learn is through the child`s interests and so use these as a framework to base key concepts and ideas. Having taught this way for a number of years, I have found providing the opportunity for children to take ownership of their learning encourages a deeper understanding.

Availability: I own both a car and a motorbike which allows me to travel freely from North London where I am based.

I am currently working as a Early Years Foundation Stage Leader as part of the Senior Leadership Team and class based teacher at a school in Haringey so I am only available on a Saturday.

Experience: I am currently an Early Years Foundation Stage leader in Harringey; where I am also a Reception class teacher. I have experience teaching the EYFS, KS1 and lower KS2.

Having specialised in Early Years practice I have comprehensive experience working in early language accusation, developing confidence in core subjects as well as building confidence and social skills. Haringey and Barnet have given me the opportunity to work with children who are new to English (EAL) as well as those who are native speakers and working at a higher level of comprehension (Gifted & Talented).

I have experience teaching phonics throughout a range of abilities both using Letters and Sounds as well as Read Write Inc.
