Information about Safwaan
Hey guys! My name is Saf, I am a chemistry graduate from Imperial College London, a university ranked 6th in the world (QS World University Rankings 2023) and currently a medical student.
I have taught over 50 students ranging from KS2 to university level of which I had 16 A-Level students achieve grades A and A* in chemistry, one of whom ranked 3rd in his cohort of 270 for A-Level Chemistry. These students have gone on to study Medicine (University of Southampton [x2], King`s College London, Newcastle University, Imperial College London & University of Manchester), Dentistry (Barts and The London School for Medicine & Dentistry), Biochemical Engineering (UCL), Chemical Engineering (UCL & University of Birmingham), Pharmacy (King`s College London), Bioengineering (Sheffield University), Pharmacology (Bristol University) and Psychology (Cardiff University).
My tutoring career started back in my college in 2017 when I began running my own study classes for individuals in my cohort struggling with the new A-Level Linear Exams, it proved a huge success and as a result I was gifted with the Chemistry Award of my college for achievement in academia and contribution to the department. I then carried on tutoring 1st & 2nd year undergraduates at Imperial College London.

Experience: -> I have over 4 years of tutoring experience in A-Level Chemistry and GCSE Mathematics & Sciences with particularly high specialism in Chemistry

-> I was the first cohort to undertake the new 2017 Linear A-Level Chemistry course and thus have a deep understanding of exam strategies and how to grab all the marks in a paper

Safwaan is helping my son with A level chemistry for the last 2 months. He feels more confident and understands the topic better after discussing with Safwaan. In addition, my son practices past paper questions according to topic and is learning tips and trics to answer questions properly. Safwaan has helped my daughter tremendously in Chemistry. He works very well with her and gets her to work on things she doesn’t understand. She says he explains very well and enjoys lessons with him. We have had a couple lessons with him and my daughters results have improved since starting with him. Fantastic tutor. Would recommend.
