I have recently graduated from Oxford with a 2:1 in Classics and whilst looking for full-time working opportunities, I’m available to tutor at flexible times in various subjects at a variety of levels. Classics of course is my strength and I have tutored up to A-Level standard before in both Greek and Latin, but I would be confident tutoring in English, Maths and History and Biology up to GCSE, including Common Entrance and Scholarship exams at 13.

I try to allow the student to lead the session by helping out in a more general piece of work in which I can identify specific areas that would be of use to revise in greater clarity but I am also able to take the lead and systematically revise the subject in its totality if that is preferred or more suitable.

I am very willing to teach in person in a socially distanced setting, and have a car so can travel if needed, but am also very comfortable teaching over video conference programmes, having finished my degree in this way. I have a sister with dyslexia, and my mother works in Learning Enrichment at Kings College School helping children with learning difficulties, so I am also sensitive to children with such conditions. I hope to be a help especially after the disruption of COVID, and please feel free to contact me with any questions or enquiries.

Experience: Have done private 1-1 tutoring to A-Level standard in Latin and in all subjects for 11 and 12+ examinations.

I have also volunteered to give extra teaching to girls in Year 7 at Coombe Girls to bring them up to the level of GCSE Latin, teaching in groups of 4-6.
