Information about Christopher William

I am currently an Associate Tutor in American Studies at the University of East Anglia and a Visiting Lecturer in English and Creative Writing at the University of Hertfordshire. My research specialisms are global contemporary literature and visual culture, memory studies, and queer theory.

My research has been published internationally and I have a number of articles forthcoming. I have a monograph currently under consideration by academic publishing houses. My teaching focus is on global literature and visual cultures, as well as postcolonial theory, and survey level literature and critical modules in both English and American literature.

I have previously studied for a BA in English Literature at Goldsmiths, University of London and an MA in Creative Writing at UEA, where I went on to complete my doctorate. I have also attended the School of Advanced Study in London.

I would be happy to take on students who are studying at a variety of levels, including secondary, further, and higher education.
