Hello 😊; I’m a first year studying at the university of Huddersfield. I am able to tutor online only for Biology, Chemistry and English Literature at GCSE level. I can also teach Primary school level in general subjects.

I am a friendly and patient person as well as a good listener who will put in every effort to plan and teach a high quality and most importantly beneficial lesson. I will not only be teaching the content but I will also be providing tips on how to handle exam style questions.

Having completed my GCSEs and A-Levels, I know exactly what it takes to get through this challenging yet incredibly important part of education. I would like to be able to help.

Experience: I enjoy working with people so I decided to join the peer mentoring service in college where I offered to teach A-Level Biology to students in the year below. I did this for a year and loved every minute of it. Sometimes only another student can completely understand and feel what a student is feeling. I can share revision strategies that worked for me at the time and perhaps offer some tips to handle exam stress.

Since I spend a lot of time in clinics during my studies treating and managing patients, I have become a good listener which I feel is most important in regards to communicating effectively with students. I can use this to figure out what students are really struggling with and plan lessons according to this. I believe I have a lot of patience and would be happy to urge students to ask me as many times as they need for me to explain the content until they fully understand.
