I am a First Class graduate of the University of Bath, where I studied French, Spanish and European Studies. During my degree I specialised in French and Spanish language, as well as 20th and 21st C political history of France and Latin America. I received a first class grade in both my French and Spanish final oral exams and have experience of tutoring students and adults for academic, professional and conversational purposes up to C1 standard.

Availability: I am available evenings and some weekdays - my current job allows me to be flexible on this so I can work around you. I would also be available to tutor on weekends.

Experience: French and Spanish: I am fluent in both French and Spanish and can provide written and spoken tutoring support at all levels. I achieved a C1 level in my university examinations, having previously lived for 5 months in France and 7 months in South America. My previous experience includes:

- I have experience of tutoring KS3 and GCSE pupils of varying abilities on a one to one and group basis, particularly focusing on grammatical and oral aspects.

- Having previously achieved A* grades in A Level French and Spanish, I am also comfortable tutoring A Level and university students in both the language and `content` side of the course, eg. literature, film and politics.

- I can tutor adults who are looking to improve (or start from scratch!) at a conversational level. Currently I am tutoring an ecology masters student in beginners Spanish in preparation for his research trip to Ecuador next year.

- I am experienced in business French and Spanish thanks to my role as a trilingual analyst in the financial services sector. I can therefore help you develop your language ability for professional purposes.

English Language: During my 7 months living in Bolivia I regularly tutored a local student in English as a foreign language at an intermediate level. I would be happy to continue similar work here in the UK.

English Literature: I achieved an A* in English Literature at A Level and GCSE, receiving full marks in my final A2 exam. I am confident tutoring English Literature students up to A Level and can provide students with relevant materials/

Essay technique: I received a first class grade in all my final year essays, which were written in French, Spanish and English. In particular, I received 85% in my final essay on contemporary far right politics in Western Europe. I can provide GCSE and A Level students with support for essay technique across humanities and languages subjects. I can provide students with materials and advice for crafting a well structured essay based on evidenced arguments and critical analysis.
