Information about Paul
I am a qualified teacher of Modern Languages (French), with a Masters degree from Cambridge University and a PGCE from Sussex University. I am an experienced classroom teacher, and have taught students both to GCSE and A-level. Also I am bilingual in French, having spent 25 years living and working there, and up to date through regular visits and contact. I can propose French tutoring up to A-level and higher, and use of the spoken language will be prioritised. I believe I can help a student access the very top levels of the target language, because, as a native English-speaker myself, I can make these languages accessible in a way that a native speaker sometimes cannot. My lessons will be varied and interactive, testing the 4 skills required for GCSE and A-level exams, and with plenty of original resources. Please make contact.

Paul has been an excellent tutor for my daughter. He is supportive, friendly and she feels very comfortable speaking French with him. She is definitely making progress with her language skills and finds the sessions productive, challenging and rewarding. We are so glad for the extra help and guidance from him.
