I have been teaching for 17 years and I`m a former OCR examiner, Head of Science and Head of Biology.

I use a variety of teaching methods and work with both the gifted and talented and those with special needs.


I have a wealth of experience and I`m very well resourced catering for multiple syllabi, abilities and attainment levels. I am currently tutoring a large number of students in the North London area from a range of selective and non selective private and state schools

I offer KS2, KS3 and KS4 Science (combined and trilogy for all specifications) and A-level Biology (AQA, OCR, Edexcel).

My love of Science stems from my Grandfather who was a Scientist and educator. He wrote maths books for all the large, maintained state schools and was honoured, years before his death with a major road named after him.

I started my career in education in 2001 after gaining a degree in Biomedical Science and a PGCE in Science. As an NQT at Enfield County School for girls, and a former pupil it was interesting (to say the least) to have my former teacher`s as colleagues. Three years after I became a Head of Biology, six years after my initial venture into education, a Head of Science (for five years) at a small Independent school in North London and I then returned to the role of the Head of Science for two years in a small school in Barnet .

I am currently a Science teacher at a private school in St Albans.

I can relate anything and everything back to Science, much to the horror of my friends and family, during gatherings.

When I`m not busy working, my second, third and fourth loves are music, film and travel.
