I am a fifth-year medical student at the University of Liverpool. Currently, I am intercalating (taking a year out from medicine) to undertake a second degree, in Biomedical Sciences and Translational Medicine.

My philosophy to teaching is simple, every pupil is different, and hence, every session is individualised. My tuition will provide the best way to supplement school lessons, with the added benefit of being completely one on one and accessible within the comforts of your home. A normal lesson will usually consist of a set list of objectives which correlate with the curriculum of the examining body. Through a systematic approach I can assure that all topics are covered, and any areas of difficulty can be identified and given greater attention. The student can at any time steer the lesson to cater for their needs, to allow them to excel in their subject.

In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, such as football and basketball, as I find a work-life balance is important for combatting stress. I have good organisation, time management skills and commitment; all of which I consider to be of the utmost importance for being a great tutor.

Experience: What makes me a good tutor? During my time in medicine, I have organised and delivered multiple teaching sessions for medical students covering topics from anatomy, basic sciences, admission preparation and many more. During this time, I have developed the necessary skills to deliver key information in a simple and effective manner. Academically I have achieved A/A*s at GCSE and 2A*s and an A at A-level. During my time in medicine, I have received commendation for academic performance and now passed my final exams. None of this would have been possible if not for good preparation and effective exam techniques. Through my experiences I can share tips and tricks to improve performance.
