I am an experienced Biology Teacher and SQA marker living and working in Edinburgh. I believe that I am friendly, enthusiastic and approachable. I am confident working with large groups, individuals and with young people with support needs. I always ensure that my lessons are fun and exciting by using a variety of active learning and interactive techniques. These help my pupils remember what they have learned. I have an up-to-date PVG Certificate and can provide references if required. I am available to tutor evenings and weekends and can travel to the pupil’s home.

Availability: Evenings. Available for intense Easter revision either one to one or in small groups

Experience: I am an experienced Biology Teacher living and working in Edinburgh. I have over 5 years tutoring experience with my pupils achieving excellent grades while most achieved higher than predicted. I have experience teaching and tutoring National 5,CfE Higher Biology, Higher Human Biology, GCSE and A Level Biology as well as General Science for S1 to S2 pupils. I am currently involved in the development of the new CfE Higher Biology curriculum which I feel gives my tutees an added advantage.
