I am a passionate and committed KS3 and GCSE educator with a positive, approachable nature. I believe it is vital to create a supportive environment to foster not only academic success but also an enjoyment of learning. I aim to support young people with their individual learning needs so they can confidently strive for success.

Availability: Mondays - 9am-3.30pm, 6-7pm
Tuesdays - 9am-7pm
Wednesdays - 9am-7pm
Thursdays - 9am-3.30pm, 6-7pm
Fridays - 9am- 7pm

Experience: Over the last 8 years, I have worked in several different comprehensive schools across Hampshire and Dorset as an English teacher for KS3 and GCSE students. For both English Language and English Literature, I am most familiar with the AQA and EDUQAS exam boards. Some of my achievements include:
- Outstanding teaching through regularly graded lesson observations
- Impressive GCSE results
- Successfully support students with SEN
- Four years with additional responsibility as a pastoral leader
- Designing and producing several new schemes of work for use across whole departments
- Being a successful mentor to several trainee teachers
- Independently spearheading an art therapy program to support the mental health needs of students
- Creating and delivering literacy interventions to feeder primary schools to address key areas of improvement
