my name is Cindy, and I am an MA graduate from Sheffield University. What I enjoy the most about my field of study is to be able to communicate with people from different cultures. I have been interested in German from a young age and I always liked to use my language skills to und, understand more about the culture.

As part of my university studies, I had the opportunity to spend one year in Germany and one year in Switzerland. This enabled me to expand my language skills, but also to learn different German dialects and ways to connect with the local people. By being an eager learner and good listener I will be more than happy to listen to you and to help,p you learning German, so that you can become a fluent German speaker like me.

Experience: I have been a language tutor since 2019 and I have been working with University, A-level and GCSE students.

In my lessons, I will either follow the current curriculum that the school of the students is following. Or if you are an adult learner I would create a tailored lesson plan for you, so that you can achieve your language goals.

I would divide my lessons into two parts:

1-Grammar/Reading
2-Speaking

I like to balance my lessons with different exercises that will enable the student to feel more familiar with the language as well as with the sounds of the different words and pronunciation. By covering more than one aspect of the German language, the student will be able to learn more from the cultural side of the language. Besides, by offering a mixed lesson, the student will be improving their written and compression skills.

Please note, that this division would be adapted according to the students` needs or difficulties.
