Hi my name is Tess, I’m studying Medicine at Nottingham uni at the moment and I’m loving every bit of it! I also play lots of netball.

Before coming here I did Biology, Chemistry and Psychology at A level where I got A*A*A. I also have a strong set of GCSE`s scoring 9s in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English lit, Art, PE, History and 8’s in French, English lang and RS.

I actually had a tutor myself when I was studying GCSE’s to get help with my chemistry and found how useful an ‘out of school’ session is from someone other than your teacher who normally has their hands more than full. I found a lot of my `aha!` moments came from these interactive tutor sessions rather than in the classroom. So I have first hand experienced of what it’s like to be at your end! I still remember my favourite tutor and how much he did to improve my confidence and subsequently my grade. My goal is to do that with you and to create as many of these `aha` moments as we can, using lots of past paper questions to build your knowledge.

Experience: I have tutored students aged 8-10 KS3 English during covid over zoom as well as tutoring online GCSE maths for MyTutor. I have enjoyed this immensely but would love the opportunity to teach Biology.
