Lesson Information : This lesson will take place for anyone wishing to start to learn the bagpipes, as a beginner or more advanced player. Further lessons will depend on whether the individuals wish to continue. 3 lesson slots will be possible, 9am-9.45am, 10am-10.45am and 11am-11.45am Please express your interest by contacting me. A practice instrument will be required, which will cost around £40 - £45. Advice on the best instrument to buy if required when you contact me. Bagpipes also required for those more advanced, though not essential for the lesson if not yet purchased, as advice again given on the instrument to, and not to, purchase. I do suggest learners begin around 8 years old (potentially no upper age limit) - parents please contact me to discuss your potential piper`s suitability if younger. Total beginner group up to 6 each time slot. More advanced players may need to be 1 to 1, individual lessons @ £15, 45 - 60 minutes duration. This is likely to be a regular weekly lesson, if you are keen to commit to learning what I consider a very unique instrument, steeped in tradition and history.
