Hi! I`m Ben and I`m a second year music student at the University of Birmingham. Having been the first cohort to sit both the new 9-1 specification GCSEs and Linear A-Levels, the learning curve for me was steep. I put in a lot of work for my exams creating resources/learning facts but also understanding the mark scheme and how to get the best mark in the exam. This exam technique is something which I believe is really important for all students to understand.Throughout my education as a musician, I`ve spent a lot of time working with different tutors in order to achieve the best grades myself so I feel like I know how a student may feel in certain situations. This knowledge, coupled with my enthusiasm for all aspects of music mean that I enjoy my tutor sessions and love seeing what students get out of them.
