Moin! Guten Tag! Hallo!

My name is Svenja and I am a German native speaker. After having finished my German Abitur (equivalent to A levels) in Germany last year, I came to Oxford, attended an English language course and started to work as a Teaching Assistant.

I would be a suitable Tutor for you if you want to improve your grammar, get prepared for important exams or need a confidence boost in your German fluency in conversations.

Availability: I am very flexible

Experience: While I was studying for my A levels, I took an additional course for two years, which strengthened my way of treating young students suitable for their age. I helped pupils to improve their confidence and their concentration in school. We learned how to develop strategic plans to force them to become motivated in doing their homework and helped them to stay focused during challenging tasks.

Furthermore, the work as a Teaching Assistant has strengthened my way of explaining difficult topics to a range of different students.
