My name is Bernie, I am English.
I come from Preston, which is located between those two great footballing Cities of Liverpool and Manchester.⚽;;⚽;;⚽;;


I have a BA degree 👨;;🎓;; in Youth and Community studies from the University of Cumbria, and have over 25 years experience teaching young people and adults in the UK.👨;;🏫;;
I also have a TEFL certificate for 120 hours from the TEFL Academy.📝;;

My wife and I have been living in Thailand 🇹;;;;;;🇭;;;;;; for 3 years teaching English to students aged 6 to 12 years old and we love our job. 👩;;🏫;;👨;;🏫;; The schools are closed now, so I have plenty of time to teach online.👨;;💻;;

I would love to learn more about the culture and social side of Asia as I plan to teach there in the future. I am very excited about meeting new students.🌎;;

I can offer communication classes, English for travel, phonetics or easy going conversational classes.🔤;;💬;;

Experience: I have been teaching as a youth and community worker in the UK for over 25 years in schools, colleges, prisons, YOI’s, universities and in the community.
I have written and delivered several courses including ‘Mentoring’ ‘Self-Awareness’, ‘Recognising and managing emotions’ and ‘Drug awareness’.
I really enjoy teaching and improving people’s ability to develop their skills and confidence to reach their potential in whatever path they choose.
