Information about Sanaze
I have been living in the UK for ten years now, to start a new career and to develop a rich and fluent English. Previously, I was born and lived in Paris for the first 25 years of my life.
I always show curiosity and respect towards the unique approach that every student needs when processing and memorising knowledge.
In light of my current experience as a home tutor, I have realised how much teaching creates interest to me. Successful learning has come through building motivation and confidence with my students. I work by understanding deeply my students` specific gaps and creating the appropriate strategies for them to assimilate knowledge.
From the beginning, I have realised how essential it is to establish goals, to stay positive and resilient with learners. I have learnt to remain patient, focused on aims, as well as interested in all my students as unique individuals and understanding the suitable learning pace for each of them. I have enjoyed conveying knowledge, stimulating and helping them to improve specific skills.
Facilitating to develop my students` confidence and observing them learn by themselves and manage unexpected new challenges has been an extremely rewarding achievement to me.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends, any-time of the day from 11am to 5pm.
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: I have become a home tutor since I have been living in London, working as a volunteer tutor in Paris. Students for French are from 4 to 65 levelling from beginner to upper-intermediate. My emphasis is to organise classes according to students` needs. For conversational and business lessons, I have been valuing the use of new alternative resources such as interactive activities, podcasts, bilingual books, and various articles in parallel with a method book.
In a more academic context, I have been helping French students with writing, working thoroughly on essay and other writing skills (developing opinions, descri ptions of past and current activities, plans and intentions). Besides, I have focused on adjusting the balance between passive and active skills according to each student, and working also on pronunciation. In other situations, we have also often gone through intensive preparation for French examinations (GCSE, A-Level, Common Entrance examination, SAT, examinations in France such as the CRPE).

Sanaze is a very helpful and sympathetic teacher. She tailors her lessons to suit my requirements and follows up my lesson with an email attachment giving the new vocabulary and grammar. I find her encouraging and helpful, and recommend her to anyone looking for French tuition in the area.
