I am a recent graduate of the University of Cambridge where I read History. I previously attended the Skinners’ School in Tunbridge Wells where I achieved two A*s (Maths and Economics) and two As (Further Maths and History) at A Level, as well as eleven A*s and an A at GCSE.

I aim to help the students I tutor to really grasp the content that they are working on, be that a mathematical technique, a historical period, or an economic principle, beyond merely knowing the rote or formulaic answer to ay given specific question. I think this is the most beneficial approach, allowing for the student to confidently and competently approach exams and classwork, while also maintaining or developing interest in the subject they are studying.

History is the area which I find extremely interesting and enjoyable and I would hope to be able to share some of my enthusiasm for the subject with those I tutor. My aim is to see students make real progress, be that in maths, economics, or history, and also gain a deeper understanding and real interest in the subject they are tutored in.

I have A Levels in Mathematics (A*) and Further Mathematics (A), as well as a Free Standing Mathematics Qualification (A, between GCSE and A Level) and a GCSE in Mathematics (A*).

I have an A Level in Economics (A*).

I have an History A Level (A) and GCSE (A*). I read History at Trinity College, Cambridge (2:1) and it remains an area that fascinates me.
