My main aim in teaching is to develop strong, positive relationships and boost confidence in learners. I don`t believe in the whole `I`m no good at maths` idea. It`s an amazing subject and I really believe that by understanding the point and principles anyone can get to grips with it. I make maths interesting and fun for my students, whilst progressively helping them to become `exam smart,` or simply more confident in the subject.

Availability: I am available every evening after 5pm and all day at weekends. I`m very flexible as far as hours are concerned.

Experience: I am a full time maths teacher and Head of Learning in a large secondary school, with 13 years experience. I have worked in primary, middle, secondary and special schools as well as private tutoring across all ages to all abilities. For the last 9 years I have worked as Head of Learning, giving me an overview of exam boards, courses and intervention. My maths department is consistently significantly above national average and OFSTED have rated my teaching as outstanding. I have detailed knowledge of various exam boards and their schemes of work. I offer online and face to face maths tuition from primary to GCSE.
