I am a maths and English tutor at primary level and can help with preparation for SATs. I get on with young people and their families. I have a busy life with my own children`s activities and often help them with their homework and ensure it is done to the best of their ability.

Experience: I have more than twenty years experience working with children from nursery age up to year 4, in a variety of settings.
I have experience of working and supporting vulnerable young people who have had transition problems in school or who are anxious for 11 years. I was also a trained nursery nurse before I trained to become a teacher and supported children in mainstream primary schools as well as special education. I have tutored pupils from Y4.
I work part-time as a supply teacher visiting different schools within County Durham, Sunderland and South Tyneside.
I have a current DBS check in place. I am honest and reliable with everything I do. I am always punctual and flexible. I enjoy my teaching and get great pleasure watching and helping young people improve and succeed in their learning.
