I`m a Student at Heriot-Watt University studying a Masters of Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering with Energy Engineering. As part of this degree, I have studied advanced chemistry and mathematics throughout the past years both in high school and university. I went to Beath High School and have now moved back to Fife for my final years of University.

Availability: Most evenings and weekends, may be able to make day-time appointments on certain days.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I have taught students on a 1-to-1 basis in maths and chemistry during high school and was also involved in a scheme in which I spent time assisting students experiencing particular difficulties in maths. I like to take the approach of finding problem areas and building upon these until the student can cope with exam level questions, and then widening the scope of study to encompass the whole course in preparation for exams. The problem areas can be covered using a mixture of tutorial style questions and explanation of the theory behind methods.
