Ka Hou

I obtained my PhD degree in Chemistry in 2019 and I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Edinburgh. I am currently supervising two Chemistry Masters students, organising their work and assisting them with their research projects.

I teach Mathematics, Chemistry and Biological Chemistry tutorials at the university. I also work as a laboratory demonstrator and report marker in the Chemistry undergraduate teaching laboratory.
I was awarded the Edinburgh University Students` Association Best Student Who Tutors Teaching Award in 2016.

I have experience teaching in a Scottish high school as a teaching assistant in STEM subjects and Mathematics. I also worked as a language tutor in a university in South Korea (Konkuk University).

I have been personal tutoring since 2012.
