I am an experienced teacher and tutor with a background of working in education for the last six years. I have worked in a variety of different educational settings and currently teach a number of different subjects across varied curriculums, including, Geography, Biology, English and Maths.
I graduated from The University of Edinburgh with a BSC in Geography at a 2:1 level. In addition, making the most of the university’s holistic approach to learning I studied a variety of other courses including Theology, Religious Studies, Archaeology and even some Music. I have experience of teaching Geography and Religious Studies at a secondary school level. In addition, I have worked in a number of mentoring and pastoral roles, particularly with students and young adults with special educational needs.

Experience: I specialise in tutoring English, Maths and Religious Studies up to GCSE level, as well as Geography and Biology to A2. I have a wide range of experience working with students with both learning and behavioural difficulties, particularly pupils with Asperger’s and Autism. My broad exposure to a variety of educational settings has meant that I have developed a flexible and creative approach to teaching. I recognises that age, cultural background and previous education experience will all influence the way in which a student approaches learning and as result, I aim to tailor my lessons - delivery, teaching style, content - to allow my students to get the most out of the learning experience as possible.
