I am a Secondary Science teacher specializing in Physical Sciences (Chemistry and Physics), but also have a strong understanding of Biology. I have been involved with the transition of students in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 and have the ability to get students to show excellent progress in all subjects.

I have been a Teacher of |Physical Sciences for the past 15 years specializing in Physics or Chemistry and currently teaching both. Currently I lead a department that coordinate A Level Chemistry and GCSE Sciences in preparation for this academic year Exams. I have a traditional style of teaching, using a diverse style of teaching for students who are not just Visual but Auditory Learners.

Student who struggle to comprehend information are often forgotten students of Kinaesthetic learning and best learn through activity based activities. This method allows students to not only recall what is learnt but become familiar with various strategies that enable them to apply them to questions in a new setting like ones that students will face in their up and coming GCSE examinations. Guarantees will be given for steady progression and improvement as they will be taught how to dissect new information and then piece back together for own personal correct reconstruction of new answers.

I can also develop students with special teaching and learning techniques to understand key aspects of their learning.
I am willing to sit down with a student for the first time with no charge to discuss and become familiar with what learning style is required for their individual needs.

Availability: After 6pm most nights except Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and can be available Saturdays during the day.

Experience: I have been teaching for the last 15 years and have experience with the UK curriculum, Australian Curriculum, American Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate.
