I am married with 2 small children. I love my family life and when I get the chance I also enjoy walking in the Peak District and doing a bit of Road running. I like to keep fit.

I am a friendly, patient and reliable person with a good sense of humour (I`ll thump anyone who disagrees with that)

I have a passion for maths. I also have a deep sense of wanting chidren to achieve the grades they need to take the next steps in their lives and realise they sometimes need an extra helping hand.

Experience: I have been teaching maths since 1989 in schools across South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire.
I have been a head of department in two large comprehensive schools and now work in a pupil referral unit (which I love). I have tutored a number of students over the years consistently achieving success.
