I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with a proven track record of highly effective teaching in class settings as well as one-one. I am passionate about teaching children and young people and I pride myself on my ability to make learning fun and build warm, professional relationships with my students.

I offer tailored, professional tuition in primary level English and mathematics. I use a patient, caring and flexible approach to provide tuition that is enjoyable and will build your child`s confidence and accelerate their academic progress. I provide all resources and I aim to ensure variety in the teaching methods and materials I use to deliver tuition in your home.

Rates for English / Maths / 11+ Tuition: £25.00 per hour per child.


Please note that additional fees WILL NOT be incurred by the client for the time I spend travelling to the client`s home or preparing for sessions. Fees detailed above are for the time I spend with students and for the use of the resources I provide.

Experience: I possess ten years of experience of teaching children and young people in primary and secondary schools. I gained Qualified Teacher Status in 2011 and now enjoy working full time as a Key Stage 2 class teacher. I possess in depth knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and a range of teaching strategies which I use to great effect in one-to-one and group situations.

I have been tutoring privately for a number of years and I have enjoyed seeing my students pass exams for grammar school entry during this time.
