Information about Salma

My name is Salma and I am a Master`s in Chemistry Graduate from King`s College London. I qualified as a teacher in 2018 and have been teaching since. I can teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE. I specialise in Chemistry for A-level and I am currently the head of KS5 Science in my school.
For my teacher training year I have been awarded the Royal Society of Chemistry Scholarship and am currently working at a school in the City of London.

Availability: Evenings 6pm onwards. Online only.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I am a qualified science teacher in London and have been working as a full time teacher for the last 3 years. My students have excellent results and I use various techniques as well as my secure subject knowledge to do this. I have also privately tutored GCSE and A-level Science over the last 5 years. These included 1-1 lessons, as well as groups of 5-6 children. I pre-plan unique lessons that will keep the students interested and at the same time help them learn efficiently. I also track their progress to ensure they know and can see how much they have progressed.

To my delight, all my students see a progression in their academic results. I am confident in my subject matter knowledge and my teaching abilities. The pressure young students face these days with the new curriculum and its more complicated concepts are definitely hard to deal with in just a 1 hour lesson of science in the 7 hour day. Hours outside of school and during the weekends will definitely help pick up students` confidence in Science and Maths.

Salma is good teacher and my son liked her way of teaching but she is not responsible person.Giving us dates but canceling day before prior to lesson.Really disappointed, such a good teacher but irresponsible.
