My name is Eric, I’m 25 and currently work as a Stress Engineer at Renault F1. I am looking to help local students, tutoring for primary/secondary school.

I have a friendly and open style of teaching. I recognise that every student is unique and aim to help them learn in a style that helps them achieve their potential. I create a learning environment that is relaxed and allows students to ask questions freely about anything they do not understand or wish to know more about. I also support the students with their school work and help them work through any problems they have. I can also provide optional extra work on areas that students have struggled with.

I understand that maths and science can appear to be daunting and irrelevant ( everyone remembers asking "When will I ever need this?" ), but I believe I can relate topics to students interests. Alongside the syllabus, I can show students how GCSE Maths helped win the Battle of Britain, how A-Level maths can help you make money on the lottery, or even how physics can teach you the perfect free kick.

I have an avid interest in mathematics and coding, especially in the hidden mathematics and physics of everyday life. I captained my university college’s football and rowing team and recently just got back from a very educational trip teaching English in China.

Availability: Due to my work, I am only available on the weekends and at the evenings. I can travel by car to students houses if required.
