Information about Laura
I am an enthusiastic and experienced artist and educator. I have a Masters Degree from the Royal College of Art in Curating Contemporary Art and a first-class honours degree in Fine Art and the History of Art and Architecture.
I was graded as an outstanding teacher and received a distinction for my PGCE from the University of Reading in Secondary Art and Design.
I am eager to help you to improve your practical skills and your ability to articulate your work and its conceptual intentions.

Experience: As well as teaching KS3, GCSE and A level Art and Photography in a Secondary School, I am employed as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Reading teaching BA and MA students and have worked within the Education Department at the Imperial War Museum.
I have also run art sessions after school for Gifted and Talented students and weekend sessions for younger years.
I have run exhibitions and events with and for people of all ages and am experienced in installing exhibitions if that is also of help.
