I am a fully qualified teacher of English and specialise in teaching English at KS3, KS4-GCSE English literature and Language, KS5-A level English Literature and Language.

I have a BA honours in English studies, MA in Practice of English Language Teaching and a PGCE from UK based respected universities.

I adapt my teaching and learning to the needs of the learners to tailor a bespoke and unique learning experience that will ensure all my students thrive and achieve the maximum grades they can possibly achieve. I also use a range of teaching and learning methods and resources in my teaching and learning practice which range from handouts, Powerpoint presentation slides, videos, guided questions, and guided texts.

Experience: I have been actively teaching at secondary comprehensive schools for 10 years. Within my teaching experiences, I have also worked in colleges and universities and taught English as a secondary language (ESOL) and English as an additional language. I have also taught English at Functional Skills level 1 and 2.

Alongside this, I am also an examiner for English Literature paper 1 and English Language paper 2 for the AQA examining board.
