I have sixteen years of teaching experience across the primary age range and within a range of roles including Class Teacher, Phase Leader and Assistant Headteacher. Other experience includes international teaching; preparation for the Cambridge PET English exams (children and adults) and online tutoring. I have also recently completed a Master`s in Education with Leadership.

Availability: Outside of UK school hours: Thursdays 3:45 - 4:30pm (3:45 - 5:00 from September). I will also be available to run summer sessions and courses during the school break.
I also have some daytime availability on Thursdays and Fridays for home educated or international students.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have taught in every year group across the primary age range and have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum requirements for both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, including SATs. During my time in school leadership, I developed and led the delivery and assessment of the curriculum across the whole school.

In my tutoring sessions, I focus on building your child’s confidence, breaking down learning barriers, and supporting them to achieve academic success—while most importantly, nurturing a genuine love of learning.

I believe children thrive when they feel ownership over their learning. That’s why I involve them in setting goals and allow some choice in the topics we explore, helping to boost motivation and engagement.

Sessions are fun, meaningful, and personalised—linked to real-life experiences and your child’s individual interests. I provide clear, immediate feedback and guide students to reflect on their learning and grow from their mistakes, helping them develop independence and pride in their progress.

I maintain strong communication with parents, offering regular updates and practical suggestions and/or homework (if suitable) to support learning at home.
