Hi there,
My name is Alex
I`m an English and Creative Writing Graduate who is currently embarking on his career to become a fully qualified teacher.
I love to read and enjoy getting young people involved in English. I am extremely passionate about English as a subject and fully realise its importance in modern day learning.

I`m will start teaching secondary school English in September and welcome the opportunity to tutor anyone as this will also be valuable experience for me.

Most of all I beleive the best way for a child to learn is to have fun with a subject!

Availability: Weekdays after school and in the evening.

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: I currently work at a primary school as a Learning Support Assistant for a year 4 class.

On a daily basis I support an ASD child through their maths lessons, teach my own spellings class and support a child using Speech and Language Therapy.

Currently I mentor a year 6 child in school with a view to improving his SATS writing mark. Each session we have a quick words-quiz, a spelling test on the new words we learn and then a writing prompt to get the creativity flowing.

I am lucky that I work at a school which offers me a wide range of resources which I can bring to any tutoring session.
