Information about Miranda
I am a fully qualified primary teacher who specialises in helping children to reach their full potential.
I enjoy teaching:
English at KS2 and Foundation English at GCSE.
Maths at KS2 , KS3 and GCSE Foundation level for struggling students.
Availability: I teach weekday evenings 4- 7pm.
My first session is free.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have taught for over 20 years in a variety of primary schools, becoming a KS1 and KS2 co- ordinator. I specialised in the arts and environmental sciences.
Since 2016, I have tutored a variety of children in English (KS2 and KS3 up to GCSE) and Maths (KS2 ,KS3 and up to GCSE foundation level).This has included both home educated and children who attend school.

Miranda is excellent! Miranda is patient with lifestyle issues that get in the way of tutoring & assistive in overcoming & navigating them for the benefit of the child. Miranda bonded well with Matilda, in a very short time frame and Matilda is not easy to bond with. Miranda very quickly spotted learning gaps and simultaneously began to address them in sessions, leaving me feeling I have value for money as well as great additional educational support for my daughter Matilda.

I would recommend Miranda to every one! My daughter has become much more confident with maths and she genuinely looks forward to Miranda’s lessons.

Miranda is a great teacher who is very patient and packs a lot into her lessons. The learning environment is fun but productive at the same time. She mixes the lessons by using computers as well as text books. My daughter looks forward to her maths lesson and has already progressed and was recently awarded Maths student of the week at school.I would have no hesitation in recommending Miranda.
