Information about Asha
I have been teaching for 8 years and currently hold the position of Head of English at an Academy in Leicester. I teach both KS3 and KS4 English, both language and literature.
I have excellent GCSE results and have significantly improved grades of previous tutees over the last 5 years. Excellent knowledge of the new English specifications, particularly Eduqas and AQA and have excellent knowledge teaching to a top set.
I have worked with a range of students including EAL and SEN and adapt tutoring to meet the exact needs of my student.
Availability: I currently only have Thursday’s available between 4 and 7pm.
Some online sessions could be considered Mon/Tues, 6-7pm - please double check availability.
Saturday am sessions could be considered, 1.5 hours minimum (10am-11:30am)

Asha is very engaging and highly professional. She quickly picked up on our son`s weaknesses and areas that need particular attention and we are hopeful that she will make a concerted effort to get him through his English GCSE.

My son has only had Asha as a tutor for a few weeks but already he is benefiting from hos time with her. For the first time in a while he is enjoying English and is engaged in the subject. Asha has a lovely calm personality and a lot of enthusiasm for the subject and for teaching. I would definitely recommend her!

I am very impressed with Asha she is very organised , always comes prepared with a plan of what to cover . My son has found her to be very patient and enthusiastic and helping him to become more confident . I would strongly recommend her , I wish we found her earlier .
