I am currently the Quality Nominee in charge of vocational studies in an Outstanding school in North London. I have held a number of positions ranging from head of Applied Science and head of Chemistry. I have been teaching for over 10 years but 8 years my current school. My students results are one of the best not just internal but across the borough. Having tutored pupils (both in groups and 1-1) I have ensured that they secure high grades and have helped numerous pupils take the next step onto their A-levels or university degree.

I am a passionate and enthusiastic teacher whose aim is to get every student to understand and enjoy chemistry. I have always aimed for my pupils to be constantly challenged in addition to understanding the chemistry and the benefit of what they are studying and how it ties in to what they might want to do later on in life. I focus heavily on exam techniques, students enjoyment of chemistry and breaking down complex questions, which is particularly common in A level Chemistry.

Availability: Monday to Friday, time 5pm - 8pm
Saturday - 9am to 7pm

Experience: I used to work as research scientist in GSK and latter moved to Pfizer. I enjoyed my time in industry but because of my love for teaching I trained to become a secondary teacher. I have thought in many schools but for the past 8 years I have been teaching at an outstanding school in North London. I teach Science at KS3, Chemistry at both GCSE and A-level. I have experience in teaching AQA, OCR and Edexcel.
I am an examiner and have been marking for different exam boards and I am also a team leader for one of the exam board.
