Information about Ruth
I am a fluent Spanish speaker and an advanced speaker of French. I am also a qualified modern languages teacher and am registered with the DBS update service. I have in-school and tutoring experience of teaching pupils aged 7 to 18 and have taught AQA and Edexcel GCSE and A Level.
I am highly adaptable in my teaching style and prioritise building learners` confidence, using a range of activities, including games, to keep them motivated and interested. I share lots of tips and tricks with my students to ensure that they know what the examiners are looking for and how to tick those boxes.

Ruth is a great tutor for my daughter who is (was!) doing her GCSE French. Helped boost her confidence at speaking and listening and knew how to talk to her to motivate her. Would recommend.

Our son was very self conscious about speaking Spanish but Ruth was very calm, took her time and he is now much more confident and very pleased that he sees her.

My daughter is doing her GCSEs this year and was struggling with French. Ruth has been brilliant with helping my daughter improve her skills.
