Information about Ben
I am a 23 year old whose has recently completed their Master`s degree and graduated from the University of Cambridge with first class honours in Materials Science (additionally I studied Physics and Chemistry during my first two years of University). Having taken Maths, Physics and Chemistry up to the equivalent of A-level (I instead completed the International Baccalaureate programme) and achieved the top grade in each subject, I feel comfortable and confident in tutoring students at any level up to an A-level standard. I additionally have had experience of teaching students in the past, having enrolled in several programmes teaching Maths and Science to GCSE students.
In general, I am passionate about the Sciences and am starting work in the scientific sector in September having completed several internships, including one in the heliophysics department at NASA`s Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland, USA.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: Previously, I have taught groups of students, who were undertaking their GCSEs, both Maths and Science. Each of these programmes lasted several months, during which time, I saw both the students` ability and enthusiasm increase significantly.
