I am a Chemistry teacher and physical sciences personal tutor, and I am passionate about inspiring a love of learning and enabling all my students to make progress in their studies.

I am skilled at communicating complex and abstract concepts with my strong academic background, having achieved a First in my Chemistry Master`s at Oxford University. I have taught GCSE, iGCSE, A Level and International Baccalaureate Chemistry courses in my career, covering all organic, inorganic and physical topics in detail. I also offer Physics GCSE tutoring having taught GCSE in this subject for many years.

My warm and personable style makes learning engaging and fun. I take time to listen and to support students with any difficulties they may be having, enabling them to be more confident when tackling Chemistry and Physics problems.

I am sensitive to learners` needs and will adapt my style and pace accordingly, always ensuring that students are not left with any gaps in their understanding.

I’m very skilled at a revision support and can help students refine their answering style and improve their calculations. I use questions from the exam specification being studied and tailor the sessions to match the area of greatest need.

Experience: I am a qualified Chemistry and Physics Teacher with over 20 years` experience of teaching GCSE, A Level and IB Chemistry, and GCSE Physics at high-performing schools in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
