I am a highly professional, motivated and successful teacher with 40 years experience. I retired from full time Education in July 2013 but still feel that I want to help young people achieve the best they can. One to one tutoring is ideal for meeting the specific needs of the learner and probably more importantly to build their confidence.
Availability: Preferably weekends.

Experience: For the last 33 years I have been teaching Science in the secondary sector. I have taught combined science at KS3 level, additional applied science at KS4 and Biology to GCSE and Advanced level. I have had Senior Leadership roles as Second in the Science Department and as Head of Year.I have been an examiner for KS3 Science and KS4 Biology. I have experience of one to one tutoring in Science and English with children with special needs. I have also had experience of tutoring students in Biology at GCSE and Advanced level.
