Hi! I`m Alia and a 3rd year Veterinary Biosciences student at University.

Whilst I study science, I`ve always had a passion for Business at school and achieved a grade 9 at GCSE as well as an A* at A level. I`ve continued learning Business at University too, enrolling in the GGA in Entrepreneurship where I won the Most Innovative award for 2024, as well as being a finalist for the Hackathon17 in which I led my team to create a sustainable Business.

Getting the top grades in Business Studies is not easy as there`s a lot of content to cover as well as needing to perfect your exam technique which can be quite overwhelming, which is why I`m here to help ! I`ll always be available to help you throughout your journey, whether you`ve just started in year 11 or 12 or want some help in the last few months leading up to the exams.

As I`ve sat the exams myself and achieved an A*, I know exactly what the examiners want to see and how to best structure your answers for top marks. With me as your tutor you`ll have a support system as well as access to tons of resources ! I make my powerpoints individually for each of my students rather than using generic online ones, and to help boost your grades even more you`ll be set an exam question each week to complete, which I`ll mark and go through with you together, so you`re making progress each week. By the time the exams roll around Business will feel like a breeze ! :)

Experience: I`m incredibly proud with the results of my GCSE and A level students in 2024, with a vast majority increasing by 2-3 grades from their previous mock exams. Over 70% of my A level students grades were A*-B.

Some parents may be concerned regarding online tutoring rather than in person, however all my students have said they find online tutoring just as effective as in person tutoring! Completing lessons online is easy using the platform, as a link appears on your home page where you can join the Zoom meeting and I`ll screenshare so we can go through the powerpoint together. This is then emailed after the lesson as a PDF along with any work set. My students are always free to send me any work they`ve done in school they`d like me to mark as well as request specific topics to be covered in lessons.
